Hello Club Coaches:

The 7th Annual MARQUES JACKSON Big State Flava Jam is a NCAA CERTIFIED EVENT and sure to be the best kickoff event to the NCAA view period in the state of Texas.  This event will be held on the beautiful campus of Southern Methodist University.  Teams from Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, New York, California, New Mexico and other surrounding areas will be in attendance.  The event will have plenty of the top talent in the nation.  Over 250 college coaches from 150 college programs were in attendance last year.

Chris Hansen from ESPN HoopGurlz's scouting/ranking services will be in attendance.

** Team Coaches can pick up their packets from 12:00pm, July 5th prior to your first game at SMU Moody Coliseum.  Team coaches must show your drivers license with a printout of your certification card in order to sit on your team bench during games.  Up to three certified coaches per team.

** College Coaches can pick up their packets from 7:30pm to 10:00pm Monday, July 4th at the Renaissance Hotel or at SMU Moody Coliseum on July 6th-8th.

All individuals who engage in coaching activities at an NCAA-certified basketball event must be approved through the NCAA Coaches' Approval Process. The approval process consists of an application, criminal background verification, an authorization for release of information and an NCAA rules educational component. The entire process must be completed online and can be accessed through the following link: https://screening.lexisnexis.com/eventcheck/ncaa/
